How to cancel a booking ? Under what conditions?

Renters and owners may cancel a rental at any time before the start of the rental, but out of respect for the other party, we would ask you to do so as soon as possible in the event you had to.

To cancel a rental, go to « My rentals » on your OuiCar account : Click on the rental, and you will find a « cancel this rental » option.

If you are a renter : Until 24h before the rental starts, the cancellation is free of charge. In the event you would cancel in the 24h preceding the rental, 35% of the total amount (options excluded) would remain owed and couldn’t be refunded. If the rental is cancelled because of non respect of the rental conditions, 35% of the total amount of the rental (options excluded) remain owed as well. The customer service can still proceed to total refund exceptionnally.

If you are an owner : The cancellement is free of charge, the renter is entitled to full refund. The customer service can still ask for justification regarding the cancellement. Careful : Too many cancellations decrease your global rate and penalize your ad. In case of abusive cancellations, we reserve the right to moderate your ad.

If the rental is running, you have to warn the customer service in the 24h following the actual start of the rental by email via the contact formular or on 01 53 49 95 35.
