If you hold a driving licence from the European Economic Area in the standard European format (for the European Union, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Lichtenstein) you must provide the following:
- A payment card in your name
- A copy of your driving licence and the original
- A copy of your identity card or passport and the original
If you hold a European Economic Area driving licence that is not in the standard European format:
- A payment card in your name
- An official translation of your licence into French (copy and original)
- A copy of your identity card or passport and the original
If your driving licence was issued in another country, you must also provide the additional items below:
- An international driving licence or an official translation of the licence into French (copy and original)
- A valid residence permit (copy and original).
(For non-students, you must not be residing in France for more than one year).
